Nanotechnology

   Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (abbreviated RCNT) was established in the Russian Federation in accordance with Federal law "About the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies» № 139-FZ of 19 July 2007. The Corporation contributes to the implementation of state policy in nanotechnology, financing investment projects for the production of nanotechnology products, facilitate the development of infrastructure in the field of nanotechnology and supports the training and retraining.

   Federal Target Program "Development of nanotechnology infrastructure in the Russian Federation for 2008-2010" approved by the RF Government Decree of August 2, 2007 № 498.

   Funding for the program - 27,7 billion rubles.

   Programme appointed head branches of the organization concerning the development of nanotechnology:

         Nanoelectronics (in terms of application-oriented research development work) - Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Research Institute of Physical Problems. FV Lukin.

         Nanoengineering - Moscow State Institute of Electronic Technology (Technical University).

         Functional Nanomaterials for Energy - All Russia Research Institute of Inorganic Materials named after Academician AA Bochvar ".

         Functional Nanomaterials for Space Applications - Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Research Center Keldysh".

         Nanobiotechnology - Federal State Unitary Enterprise Russian Research Centre "Kurchatov Institute".

         Structural Nanomaterials - Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Central Research Institute of Structural Materials" Prometheus "and Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Technological Institute for Superhard and Novel Carbon Materials".

         Composite materials - All Russia Research Institute of Aviation Materials.

         Nanotechnology for security systems - Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Central Research Institute of Chemistry and Mechanics.
