Nanotechnology

In 2004, global investment in the development of nanotechnology has nearly doubled compared with 2003 and reached $ 10 billion from private donors - corporations and foundations - had roughly $ 6.6 billion investment, the share of government agencies - about $ 3.3 billion world market leaders in total investment in this area were Japan and the U.S.. Japan has increased the costs to develop new nanotechnology to 126% compared with 2003 (total investment of $ 4 billion), USA - 122% ($ 3.4 billion).
