   Due to the fact that nanotechnology - an interdisciplinary science to conduct research using the same methods as the "classical" biology, chemistry, physics. One of the main methods of research in nanotechnology is the scanning probe microscopy. Currently in the research laboratories are not only used the "classic" probe microscopes, and SPM in combination with optical microscopy, electron microscopes, Raman spectrometers (Raman) scattering and fluorescence, ultramicrotome (for three-dimensional structure of materials).

   The direction of modern medicine is based on the use of the unique properties of nanomaterials and nanodevices to track, construction and changes in biological systems to human nanomolecular level.

   DNA nanotechnology - use specific bases of DNA molecules and nucleic acids to create on their basis of clearly defined structures.

   The industrial synthesis of molecules of medicines and pharmaceutical products clearly defined shape (bis-peptides).
